Frequently asked questions

What people ask most before booking. If yours isn't here, write to us.

Before you book

Do I need to speak Chinese?

No. You need two apps and a payment method that works, and we set both up with you before you fly. Someone who speaks Chinese is with the group the whole time.

Do I need a visa?

Depends on your passport and your route. Some nationalities get visa-free transit, most don't, and the rules move. Tell us your passport and we'll tell you what applies today — then confirm with the consulate before you buy flights.

How big are the groups?

Group departures are confirmed from 4 travelers. If you’re traveling with your own group, we can also arrange a private trip.

Is this a mass tour?

No. These are group trips with a carefully planned itinerary and a comfortable pace, designed to enjoy each destination.

Can I come on my own?

Yes. If you travel alone you'll have a single room with a supplement; we'll tell you how much when you get in touch.

On the ground

How fit do I need to be?

Being able to walk three or four hours, sometimes on stairs or uneven paths. The Yunnan trip includes two days of trekking; each trip page says so.

Where do we sleep?

In 4-star hotels with breakfast. Some trips include different nights, like the Pullman 5★ in Zhangjiajie or a guesthouse in Furong; each trip page lists them.

What if I don't eat something?

Tell us when you book — vegetarian, no pork, allergies, whatever it is. Outside the big cities the kitchen is the kitchen, so we plan around it in advance instead of improvising at the table.

Will my phone work?

Yes, with an eSIM or roaming that routes outside the mainland, or with a VPN installed before you arrive — not after. We walk you through it on the pre-trip call.

What if something closes or changes?

We tell you the same day, we move it, and we say what it costs — if it costs anything. If the replacement doesn't work for you, we look at options together.

Money and paperwork

How do I pay?

Through PayPal, in US dollars. We send you a payment link; we never ask for or store card details. The deposit holds your seat and the rest is paid before departure. [PENDIENTE: deposit amount and final payment date]

What's the deposit and what if I cancel?

[PENDIENTE: amount, refund window and cancellation policy]

Are flights included?

International flights are not. We tell you which airport to land in and on which day, and we check your booking before you pay for it — a flight landing at the wrong hour costs you a day of the trip.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. Some trips already include it (check “What's included”); if yours doesn't, you need one with medical cover and repatriation.

How much extra money should I bring?

For lunches, dinners, personal spending and anything outside the itinerary. China is usually cheaper than people expect, and almost everything is paid by phone; we set that up with you before the trip.
